ABOUT THE JOB
As a Sales & Supply Support Manager you work with your team to ensure that the supplying process in the IKEA store is fully integrated with the communication and selling processes. Your challenging responsibility is to create excellence in the area of product availability by balancing range and space, and doing forecasting, ordering and inventory management to achieve agreed service levels at the lowest possible cost.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT
In this role, you will be a leader of the Logistics Sales and Supply Support team reporting to the Logistic Manager and you will:
· Focus on order parameters, product ordering and availability checks, and coaching other co-workers to secure the correct use of ordering procedures so that sufficient stock is available to meet customer needs.
· Focus on inventory management; you’ll do analysis of stock discrepancies to secure the quality in store stock information and work together with commercial team to have polished stock registration routines.
· Secure and maintain the availability of products and take actions together with your commercial team colleagues to minimize the impact of availability issues on our customers.
· Support actions in the store commercial team to ensure a smooth selling-off of products, a timely start to sales of new products and the implementation of sales plans, such as promotions, to increase turnover.
· Work with your manager to address any adjustment needs to the Sales department. YOUR PROFILE
You haveapassionforlogisticsand experience of 3 years inworkingin afast-pacedandconstantly changing retail or supply environment.Your self-reliance contributes to a team effort to make the most efficient use of time available. You love working in systems and have good knowledge of MS Office Excel. You create movement so as to make everyday life a little easier for the many people.
Also, we believe that you have the following knowledge, capabilities and motivation:
· Desire to contribute to the development of the IKEA retail logistics business.
· Keep focus on maximizing turnover, creating profit and improving our customers’ shopping experience.
· Ability to work on tactical and operational level.
· Good analytical skills.
· Common sense approach to fact analysis and decision making process.
· Ability to give open and honest feedback as well be open to receiving feedback from your colleagues and possessing the desire to learn from others.
· Specialist profile with the ability to act as leader, trainer and coach.
· An understanding of the key performance measurement and follow-up tools to be able to develop your area of responsibility.
