To support the Safety and Security Manager in providing the Store Manager and Steering Group with the advisor knowledge to fulfil their duties in line, IKEA Safety & Security policies, guidelines and local requirement. Pro-actively drive the culture of 'safety first'. We are looking for a person who is inspired by IKEA vision and driven by IKEA business idea, culture and values and focused on supporting the business by the knowledge, motivation and capability to perform safe and secure environment in all situations/activities.

As Safety and Security advisor should be able to:
• Ensure a safe & secure environment for visitors, customers and co-workers
• Strengthen the IKEA brand and protect our assets
• Maintain an overall risk awareness & secure IKEA culture

ASSIGNMENT – Your work and tasks

Safety and Security Advisor store tasks include:

·  Work together with Safety and Security Manager in developing and implementing an annual action plan to achieve the common store Safety and Security goals and priorities.
·  Conduct daily safety and security check with team to provide safe and secure place for co-workers, customers and visitors using most efficient methods and tools
·  Respond incident(s) and accident(s) occurred in store to maintain safety and security standards in highest level and remove root causes to prevent in future
·  Work together with managers to provide maintain highest level of loss prevention, access control, regulations and other requirements related to safety and security for customers, co-workers and visitors in store
·  Act as an IKEA ambassador by creating an environment of trust by encouraging open, constructive, honest, two-way communication
·  Provide trainings related to safety and security to co-workers and external parties to maintain highest level of IKEA Safety and Security standards
·  Perform other duties as required PROFILE – Your skills and knowledge

The candidate we are looking for should have:

·  Knowledge in Safety & Security strategies in retail industry or willingness to learn
·  Know how to protect company intellectual and physical assets, loss prevention management or willingness to learn
·  Fluent in English and Korean
·  Strong communication skills and positive approach
·  Curiosity and willingness to learn
