Job Description
Coordinate goods-flow operations in receiving/replenishment before store opening and optimize outflow routines after store opening.
Your Responsibilities
· Meet or exceed sales and P&L objectives: recovery index, budgets, quality/receiving credits, productivity
· Monitor transfer types and maintain confirmation system for returned products to achieve goals.
· Provide a positive customer shopping experience through operating an efficient, organized and safe AS-IS selling floor.
· Lead the quality function to better serve our customers.
· Develop action plans and partner with all areas of the store to achieve business goals and Commercial Review standards.
· Attract, retain, develop, and inspire co-workers
· Ensure a safe and respectful work environment through operating an efficient and organized AS-IS selling floor, stock confirmation room and processing room.
· Work as an advocate of IKEA’s environmental goals and ensure operations are structured to meet or exceed Concept requirements.
· Promote and implement Recovery Concept throughout store according to the Recovery Manual guidelines
· Partner with Customer Convenience Manager to operate an effective hardware/spare parts inventory system
· Contribute as a member of the Services Management team, lead the Recovery team and manage the As-Is/Clearance area
· Meet CSI expectations
· Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur
You Have
· Excellent leadership and communication abilities
· Ability to share your knowledge and learning
· Strategic, analytical and tactical abilities
· Well developed problem-solving and organizational skills
· Interest in home furnishings
· Computer literate
· Ability to lift 100 lbs. (25 kg)
· 2-3 years IKEA management experience including internal training programs or 3-5 years retail management experience, goods-flow/supply knowledge preferred
· Up to date on IKEA Business College requirements within current area
Reporting Line
· Operations Manager
Experience:
· Internal Candidates - 2-3 years IKEA management experience including internal training programs.
· External Candidates - 3-5 years retail management experience.
Additional Items:
· Please note this position requires flexibility in availability. Position requires working one evening shift and rotational weekends.
· This is a full-time, 40 hrs/week salaried position.
