About the job
As a Purchaser at IKEA IMS you have an important role to support the IKEA units, stores and offices in IKEA IMS Region 5 (Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands) with the purchase of indirect material and services, in particular within the segment of marketing content development (ATL; BTL;CRM)
As a purchaser with a regional responsibility you are:
· To lead the purchasing process for marketing
· To lead Sourcing projects, developing and managing national and regional suppliers to secure that they comply with all IKEA requirements on quality, price and sustainability
· Implement and further develop the global strategy on rebuilds, build ups and installation services resulting in increased efficiency for IKEA stores
· To build trustful relations with stakeholders and suppliers to achieve the best solutions and ensure compliance of agreements
· To have a close connection with the global IMS marketing category and participate in global meetings to contribute to the further developing the relevant marketing segments About you
We believe that you:
· Have minimum 3 years of purchase experience
· Have a university degree either / or in Business Administration, finance, marketing, communication or related, legal or equivalent knowledge
· Are experienced in or capable of facilitating change management
· Looking for new possibilities and improving our way of working comes natural to you
· Enjoy working in a global environment
· Have Project management and problem solving skills
· Are fluent in English but also in a second language both written and verbal.
· Are used to work in Excel and PowerPoint.
· It is an advantage if you have experience with souring processes and in e-sourcing tools As a person you have a business mindset with a strong drive. You are open to challenges, changes and always look for new possibilities to develop the ways of working. We believe that you have good communication skills and you like interacting and building trustworthy relations with people inside and outside of IKEA.
As we offer a regional assignment with multiple locations, the purchase manager, whom you will be reporting to, might not be co-located, therefore it is important that you are able to work independently and are ready for travel.
