In order to reach the Growth ambitions we are opening the vacancy for a Project leader Add on Sales and Gift card. As a Project leader you will be responsible for different tasks and will be concluded in a later stage. This project role will be a temporary assignment till August 2019.

At the IKEA Service Office, based in Amsterdam, you will find the Human Resources, Marketing, Corporate Communication, Sales, Customer Relations, Logistics, Finance and Food departments on a national level. They have an advisory and supporting role to the IKEA Netherlands stores. In March 2019 the IKEA Service Office moves to a brand new office in IKEA Haarlem.

Who you are
You recognize yourself in our values, are passionate about home furnishing and eager to develop yourself and IKEA. Furthermore, for this position we are looking for the requirements below as well:

• Experienced leader with experience in a leadership role (level of Deputy/Store Sales Manager) or a two years’ experience in a managerial position and have an interest in home furnishing and people's everyday life at home;
• Experienced of setting and implementing action plans and budgets, and following up goals. Besides that good at setting expectations and providing clear directions that engage the receiver by creating a passion for your plans;
• Ability to develop knowledge of the local market and business conditions quickly and take winning commercial decisions based on local market information;
• Passionate leader with both cooperation and communication skills, but also a problem-solver who understands the cause and effect of decisions;
• Self-reliant and motivated person with proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

What you will be doing
As Project leader you are part of the Sales department of IKEA Netherlands at the Service Office. You are working in a multi-channel retail environment and you will report to the Deputy Sales Manager of IKEA Netherlands.

Your tasks will include:
• Optimizing sales and profitability within Add on Sales by working closely with the stores to secure understanding and implementation of the strategies by organizing workshops with the stores;
• Develop and implement an national AOS follow up tool and securing bench mark figures for the stores;
• Enable sharing good examples and maximize sales and profit within the NL organization & global IKEA in the commercial function;
• Participating in the Active customer approach project and roll out of an active customer approach in the country;
• Optimize sales and profit through our Gift Cards offer in all channels; analyze and follow-up on gift cards achieving the sales targets closely working with the stores.
• Work with our commercial opportunities to optimize our commercial performance.
