My name is Tomas, and I’m looking for a new Production Engineer to my team. We are working with Filled products (pillows, quilts, cushions, etc) supply. You will join a strong and dynamic team of 15 people. Together with our partners around Europe we work to develop and supply sustainable and compliant products at lowest price. Our work consists of plenty of communication and stakeholder management, system updates as well as planning and executing improvement actions.
Job description
We are all about quality and you would be the one leading this agenda in the business team, working very close with our Business Developers & Supply Planners. You are the main contact towards the suppliers and work as part of the business team together with the supplier to develop and secure the efficient production process, handling of quality deviations and secure compliance to all IKEA requirements.
Amongst others you:
· are responsible for Quality Assurance
· perform Product audits and production risk assessments at suppliers
· are responsible for Supplier development

Qualifications
For this position holder it is important to know how to build and maintain business relations , having excellent communication skills , being a good team worker and empathetic, respecting values and being persistent . You are able to prioritize. Easy adaptation to changes and willingness to take responsibility is also necessary.
We believe that you have:
· a background in engineering, quality and production development
· preferably having an engineering education and at least 2-5 years of working experience
· good communicative skills and speak fluently English

Travelling is a part of the assignment since our Engineers spend a lot of time with our suppliers.
