Product Quality Navigator, Business Area Bedroom and Bathroom

As Product Quality Navigator you will be responsible for the safety and quality alarm process in our Business Area. You will be working re-actively, solving safety and quality challenges in a professional way and also pro-actively, providing the product development teams with the insights gained from our customersin a structured way.
As Product Quality Navigator for Bedroom and Bathroom you will be working with a vast IKEA network and you will secure that we respond to and act on safety and quality deviations in the best possible way. To succeed in this assignment, you need to combine your strong networking skills with high integrity.
Your assignment will include:
· To be a process owner for the Safety and Quality alarm processes within the Business Area and to be responsible to coordinate the inflow of alarms and to secure that actions are taken.
· To be responsible for development and to be a process owner of tools that supports Quality, Safety and Health deviations on Business Area level.
· To contribute to analysis regarding customer feedback and translate this into concrete short and long term actions and as input to the development process.
· To be main contact towards Quality Stores and Quality Development Centers on Business area level.
· To participate in and to initiate crossover initiatives between all HFB's (Home Furnishing Business) regarding Quality and Quality Improvements.
· To contribute to identification and analysis on quality problems caused by production in close co-operation with Categories and Trading
· To be a contact person and co-ordinator in the Business Area for Immediate actions (sale stop, blocked goods etc).
· To secure that learnings from product quality and deviations are captured and communicated back to relevant stakeholder.
Is this the right challenge for you?
We believe that you have a University degree in engineering or equivalent education. You have 3-5 years of experience in quality and safety management, quality improvements and measurements.You have good knowledge of Excel and quality related tools – eg. root case analysis. You have knowledge of broad production and material.
As a person you are a self-starter with the ability to structure, organize, administrate and complete assigned tasks independently. You have good analytical skills and high ability to coordinate, act and follow up. You are focused on details as well as the overall picture. You carry through improvement initiatives and you have the ability to work both in the short term and more long-term perspective. Finally, you are good networker and you have a passion for sharing knowledge and the ability to motivate and inspire your business team in working and moving IKEA on the quality agenda.
