The IKEA Group Functions are responsible for their specific competence (matrix) area, which has the assignment to lead the development of IKEA directions and strategies of that area, to develop frameworks, processes and thereby secure execution in the business. To the IKEA Group Function Business Navigation & Finance belongs; Business Navigation, Accounting & Reporting, Finance, the Processes Optimise Business Performance and Perform & Report Financial Activities and the Group Shared Services.

Within the Process “Perform and Report Financial Activities” (PRFA) we are recruiting a:

Process Developer for Record To Report (R2R) process
As Process Developer, you will:

Develop one or more business processes together with the Process Owner(s) and Process Leaders in IKEA, in order to secure better ways of working across functions.
Your main assignments will be:

·  Together with R2R process team (re)design, describe, implement, continuously improve and monitor R2R process from the (pre)closing activities (i.e. (re)valuations, accruals, reconciliations, provisions, review, analyses etc.) to Consolidation and Financial Reporting (including tax reporting) ensuring efficient and effective process compliant to the BN&F Framework
·  Responsible to lead agreed activities, with and without IT component, in order to resolve issues related to process efficiency and effectiveness; manage implementation of decided system changes/development by working closely with Business Solutions/IT
·  Work interdependentlywith all stakeholders (incl. other process developers) to establish clear “interfaces” between the processes to achieve alignment, synchronization and standardization preventing process gaps and process silos
·  Responsible for improving, developing and securing process documentation (e.g. process maps and/or descriptions, closing schedule), communication of process updates to relevant stakeholders
·  Secure implementation and establishment of the process including identifying competence development needs
·  Responsible to coach and support within his/hers area of expertise, share knowledge and experience with colleagues
·  Continuously develop expertise within the specific process area.

·  To succeed in the role you need to be a leader with proven broad business perspective and have a good knowledge and understanding of end-to-end finance processes
·  With your past finance experience in working cross-functions, across organisations, you will quickly develop knowledge of the specific processes
·  You will have high levels of influencing, build strong working relationships across all parts of the organisation and have the ability to work with both operational and tactical issues
·  This role demands a good understanding of our culture, ways of working and you are a real communicator. And of course you should have a genuine interest in home furnishing.
