Right now, the Total Rewards- Payroll team at People & Culture at IKEA of Belgium, is looking for a Total Rewards Specialist (Payroll Specialist).

To be successful as Total Rewards Specialist, you should be able to investigate and resolve payroll issues and ensure strict compliance with company and regulatory standards. An outstanding payroll specialist should also have excellent people skills and a high numerical aptitude.

We´d like to see that you:

Have an bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent education or market experience preferred.
For this role we believe you need minimum 3 years of experience in Payroll preferably from a large scale company.
Solid knowledge of Belgian Social Legislation Laws
Are self-driven, able to work independently and are motivated in finding new solutions, but also like collaborating in a team.
Have proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required.
?Possess strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications- particularly in Excel.
Are structured and organized with a hands-on approach - you make things happen in a simple way.
Feel passion for people and business and like to work in a complex, constantly changing, international environment.
Are fluent in both spoken and written Dutch or and French and good level of English.

Your responsibilities

In the role as Total Rewards Specialist you will:

Work with company database programs to optimize & process payroll.
Manage the payroll from A to Z to comply with deadlines.
Leading the payroll of a Unit store and it’s stakeholders (P&C HR & People Planners)
Maintain personnel database regarding salaries.
Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, company budget and expense.
Prepare periodic payroll reports for review by management.
Provide payroll expertise towards payroll specialists in Community of Expertise team.
Support towards organization – a shared responsibility in the team).
Furthermore, you will contribute with setting processes and delivering payroll expertise. You act as the owner of the HR Payroll system and create payroll support. You are first line contact with intern stakeholders - Store Unit P&C Management regarding payroll. You develop and maintain a solid partnership and open communication with the store P&C Team.
