Operations Developer - Service Business Fulfilment

Fulltime/unlimited, based in the Service Office London (Wembley)

Service Business Fulfilment is a part of IKEA Distribution Services and is responsible for the steering, co-ordination and development of IKEA services to our customers. This means creating and maintaining sustainable Service set-ups in close cooperation with external business partners as well as internal actors in the IKEA Supply Chain and Retail organization.

The purpose of the job is to support the roll out of Click & Collect and organize a new LCD setup. To reach excellence in Service Business operations by executing daily operations within defined geographical scope to reach settled and agreed targets for all performance indicators. Actively develop the logistic set-up, together with service providers and IKEA stakeholders, to secure service execution at the right time and with the right quality to achieve the goal of creating only satisfied customers.

Assignment:

· 
Is responsible for establishing, maintaining and optimizing efficient logistic set up with ESP operations

· 
Is responsible for execution and follow up agreed/signed contracts in assigned market and monitoring of compliance of working methods

· 
Is responsible to agree and set service and capacity with service provider in correlation with given forecast

· 
Is responsible for monitoring and improving the operational performance of service providers in designated market as well as working pro-actively together with relevant stakeholders

· 
Is responsible for developing service providers according to Supplier Development Process (SDP)

· 
Trains and advices service providers in working methods and integrated IT solution, together with other stakeholders

· 
Actively builds networks, encourage clear communication and cooperation with service provider and other IKEA stakeholders in market, sharing goals and ambitions that will support the overall business development

Knowledge & Capabilities:

· 
University degree in logistics, economics, business administration or relevant working experience

· 
Good knowledge of functions within Supply Chain and Retail and how they contribute to the process

·  It can be a high plus if the candidate has specific knowledge in Kitchen and Assembly
· 
Knowledge and experience of meeting and interacting with external partners

· 
Understanding of customer needs/expectations and experiences

· 
Experience in developing ways of working and development of service providers and projects

· 
Have analytics skills and network building abilities

· 
Knowledge of the IT systems landscape associated with IKEA Transport & Services

· 
Good presentation and communication skills

·  Project management experience

·  Fluent in English, both written and spoken

The location of this assignment will be based in Service Office London (Wembley) and will be discussed during the recruitment process together with the candidates. In this function you will report to the Team Leader - Service Business Fulfilment UK.

This position requires work permission for UK and a valid driver licence.
