About the job
Working as a Nutrition & Health Specialist you will contribute to strategies and lead activities on health and nutrition that support the ambitions of the Sustainability & Health Direction of IKEA Food. You will ensure that the health and nutrition perspectives are integrated and contributing to the business. The Nutrition & Health Specialistwill be a member of the Health & Sustainability team and will report to the Health & Sustainability Manager.
About the assignment
· Support the development and deliver actions and initiatives for health and nutrition.
· Develop clear positions on food related health issues, building on nutritional science, EU and national regulatory and societal trends.
· Act as a nutritional support to our product development teams as they develop the range.
· Train internal stakeholders and IKEA Food Services AB co-workers on nutrition and health and the implementation of our tools and programmes.
· Together with relevant expertise within IKEA Food Services AB, shape internal and external communication on our work and activities as well as support commercial communications to understand how to guide our customers towards the right choices.
· Identify new and innovative ways to approach health and nutrition topics.
· Engage with stakeholders and partners and co-ordinate our Health Advisory Board. About you
You are driven to constantly improve and exceed goals, to drive change in a complex, fast paced, global environment in a way that contributes to society.You need to be excellent in networking and communicating, create clarity and an ability to translate complex to topic into simple communication. You need to be flexible, supportive, open-minded and great at building relationships. You are a problem solver who can take their own initiative and are capable of handling diverse tasks simultaneously.
Together with an education in nutrition, public health or other relevant discipline you have solid knowledge and experience from the food industry combined with insight in consumer trends and are able to apply it to a business context. You have experience from working to influence change in a corporate environment or a strong drive to do so.As English is our corporate language, the ability to express yourself in Englishis a prerequisite.
