IKEA Distribution Ltd in Peterborough has 500 driven and enthusiastic co-workers working within the Warehouse and Support Functions of this very large operation.

ABOUT THE JOB
Ensure relevant MHE training is carried out according to both local legislation and IKEA requirements.Ensure relevant facility inspections are routinely carried out (First Aid, MHE) To support MHE Responsible and Health & Safety Manager to ensure compliance

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:
·  MHE training and assessments and follow up on MHE Pre-op checks
·  Completion of all relevant documentation to ensure compliance and to be filed in the correct location
·  Support Safety Training
·  Up dating Health & Safety Database
·  Presentation overview of department – New Starters
·  Support MHE Responsible when on annual leave
·  Site inspections of battery area's to check for any faults that require to be reported
·  To support in relation to all site audits and inspections, investigations YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
·  This would be considered as a development opportunity for the right candidate.
·  Computer literate (Basic level)
·  Ability to work under pressure to support and deliver training throughout the operation within a time constrained environment
·  Relevant experience of all MHE used by the operation
·  Be able to demonstrate IKEA values and ethics
·  To remain focused on the customer need and quality
·  Be able to communicate effectively and be able on your own and as part of a team and be able to makeimportant decisions and use own initiative
·  Be punctual and show enthusiasm, passion and drive in delivery of training and be able to embracechangeand continual improvement initiatives
·  Have a proven track record of good driving standards GROWING TOGETHER

Additional Information :

Working any 5 from 7 days - 40 hour contract Nights and Days would be considered
