LOGISTICS TEAM LEADER FOR OUR NIGHT SHIFT TEAM, IKEA TAASTRUP
Notice: this is a night time job

ABOUT THE JOB
As a team leader i goods recieving you will be responsible for a team of 20 coworkers. The primary task of the department is to unload trucks and distribute goods on to the other departments within logistics. Working hours are between 23:00-07:00 on week days and every other weekend.

Your task includes:

·  Handling of goods. E.g. unloading, internal transportation in store, enumeration and replenishment of goods.
·  Ensuring that your co-workers use the right working equipment and tools in a responsible, safe and efficient way, to minimize risk and damages.
·  Working together with your colleagues to keep the store fulfilled with the right goods before opening hours.
·  Working together to improve, implement and optimize the processes and working procedures in logistics.  YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, competences and experience includes:

·  Minimum three years of leader experience from working in logistics with documented results.
·  Experience with working at night.
·  Licensed to operate a forklift driver and experience with working with bothcounterbalance- and reach truck.
·  Experience with working with high demands in safety and implementation of routines regarding safety.
·  Finding it easy to express yourself in English both in talking and writing. YOU AS A LEADER HAS THE CAPABILLITY TO DEVELOP AND OPTIMIZE
As a leader you are operational oriented, but also manages to lift your self up and prioritize, delegate and follow up on assignments/tasks. People have confidence in you and you know that your team is your biggest resource. You thrive with being busy and your strong leadership capabilities helps you maintain the overview. You work together with the other teamleaders and co-workers in logistics to ensure the store is ready for hopening hours. Your knowledge of and curiosity for processes in logistics enables you to optimize your business.
