About the job

ABOUT THE JOB
Achieve the IKEA goals and standards, through working as a member with the full-serve team to deliver an efficient and profitable goods-flow operation in the Full-serve warehouse and Customer Delivery service in order to satisfy customer expectations at lowest possible costs.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:

·  Picking orders for the Order and Collection Unit
·  Ensure your area of responsibility provides visitors with a positive shopping experience by; ensuring Customer Service standards are met and exceeded; the highest levels of goods availability are maintained; general routines and housekeeping are of the highest possible standards; you understand the mechanical sales system and utilise it effectively.
·  Ensure the safety of our visitors and co-workers, taking in to account safety constraints relating to the safe storage of specific products and load bearing capabilities of fixtures.
·  Work to efficient timeframes
·  Maintain accurate inventories; adhere to inventory control procedures; ensure efficient and accurate picking activities in order to maximise customers' perceived goods availability.
·  Work with your Manager to ensure you work in an efficient, lean and simple way in order to maximise your efficiency.
·  Promote a safe working environment for fellow co-workers.

Additional Information :

We have 2 vacancies both 20 hours per week, based at IKEA Birmingham (Wednesbury)

Working in the Full Serve warehouse picking orders for our new Order & Collection Point in Birmingham Centre.

Flexibility required to meet the customers' needs, shifts will include evenings (till 10:30pm), days and weekends on a rota basis.
