We are looking to welcome Order picker and checkout assistant to join our amazing logistics team here at Southampton
WHAT WE OFFER
• £10.10 basic hourly rate

CONTRACTS
16 hours working 4 out of 7 days, shifts between early start 6am and 10pm
24 hours working 5 out of 7 days shifts between the hours of 6am and 10pm
30 hours working 5 out of 7 days shifts between the hours of 6am and 10pm
Working including 3 out of every 4 weekends. You will get 1 weekend off per month
We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, this role will require availability to work during the day, late evenings, and full weekends.

The Logistics Team at IKEA Southampton are looking for proactive and energetic individuals, who are not afraid to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. We are on the lookout for someone who has great communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for stock accuracy.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The logistics teams are playing a crucial part in our store operations. They enable a successful shopping experience for our customers by ensuring that our products are in the right place at the right time. The day-to-day tasks are physically demanding and involve a great deal of (safe!) manual handling. Who needs the gym!?
In our Warehouse team you will have the customers at heart, you will be picking and preparing orders for both online & in store for collection or delivery. Your daily duties will be picking, checking order accuracy, and preparing orders for delivery. You will also be required to meet the customer in the store during picking.
We expect you to take responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your co-workers, and our customers. At IKEA, we call this position a Logistics Co-worker.
We are looking for someone who has good IT & customer service skills & are looking to grow & develop in this role.
