ABOUT THE JOB
IKEA Food Milton Keynes is looking for a dynamic person to join our expanding kitchens team. This role is critical to ensure that the stores are run smoothly and efficiently which is the foundation to any good kitchen's operations. This individual will have the freedom to organize their daily routine as they see fit. As a storeman you will have a key role and will work closely with the kitchen manager to ensure the success of the kitchen.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include
· Receiving, checking and locating products
· Ownership of completing food safety paper work on a daily basis
· Working with suppliers on quality control
· Controlling stock levels and liaising with kitchen management team
· Cleaning the delivery and food holding areas
· Overall responsibility for the stores area YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
· Strong organization skills and good eye for detail
· Ability to problem solve and create solutions quickly
· Confident working with external suppliers
· Comfortable working alone throughout the shift
· You are flexible and open, curious and eager to learn.
· Experience in stores is preferred Are you hungry for the opportunity?
Additional Information :
This is for a 39 hour contract. Full flexibility of availability will be needed throughout the week. IKEA is a living wage employer and any co-worker will begin employment on £8.25/hour.
