Who are you?

You have at least 3 years of food purchasing experience from trading, retail, hotel or commercial restaurants. You have strong knowledge of the IKEA Concept, laws and standards regarding ingredients, labelling and supplier certification (e.g. ISO), food product, food safety, and HACCP.

You have a clear understanding of our key strategies in the IKEA Food business priorities and retail business direction, have experience in commercial review, and understanding analysing KPIs and P/L. Besides having good understanding of our markets across the region, you are someone who identifies with IKEA values.

You have a passion for food and working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Problem-solving and building trustful relationships come naturally to you. You are self-motivated, meticulous, persistent, and have a strong desire to initiate and influence change.

As a manager, we expect you to uphold and develop ethics and company values, and to lead by example, whether it's how you behave with matrix partners or external relations and networks.

How is the job?

Together with the IKEA Food Range Manager, you will ensure that all legal requirements and IKEA policies for food safety are metand ensure that IKEA Food operates in accordance with legislation and IKEA Food Safety Policy.Youare responsible for purchasing and supplying all national IKEA Food products. You will organise, prepare and implement the IKEA Food purchases according to the IKEA purchasing processes and specified IWAY standards, by optimising the efficiency in the supply chain.

You will work closely with IKEA Food Services AB, as well as source for local/regional suppliers who have the right strategic fit for long-term growth with IKEA. You do this to support our ambition in delivering sustainable, quality, availability and cost-efficient food offers for our customers in the IKEA Restaurant, Bistro and Swedish Food Market.
