Who you are

As an IKEA Food Co-worker you demonstrate passion, love and commitment to food, its quality and presentation. You have experience working in customer facing fast paced environments and are enthusiastic about working with others in a team. You have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a polite and friendly manner. Previous experience in hospitality, cookery or work is advantageous, but not essential. You are able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.

As our store trades 7 days a week, including weekends, you are required to work a mix of day, evening and weekend shifts, and have availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends.

Your responsibilities

As and IKEA Food Co-worker you ensure your area is efficiently maintained as well as clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
We currently have opportunities within the Operations Department.

• Customer Restaurant - Cash handling & customer service and maintaining the customer restaurant.
• Kitchen Production - Food preparation, cooking and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods.
• Dishwash – Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant.
• Bistro – Cash handling, customer service, food preparation and
cooking.

Additional Information

These roles are permanent part time, contracts and 30, 40 & 50 hours per/fortnight.
