IKEA PENANG
The first IKEA store in Malaysia northern region, Penang, will open by 1st quarter 2019 and we are now hiring our store team. The successful candidate must attend on the job training at IKEA Damansara/Cheras in the initial 3 to 6 months before the Penang store opening.

We are looking for talents to fill our IKEA Restaurant, Swedish Food Market & Bistro, and IKEA Food Kitchen.

ABOUT THE JOB
To attract visitors to the store, encouraging IKEA store visitors to stay longer and enjoy more, making it fun for everyone, offering great food with the quality at the lowest prices, giving visitors a tasty reason to return again.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:

·  Ensure customers are always in focus & to be served with care, strive to make them smile while providing irresistible food offers in a welcoming atmosphere.
·  Acts as a good ambassador for the IKEA store in all contact with our customers.
·  Often think from customer perspective and have a daily dialogue with customers to get feedback about their experiences and to learn more about their needs and wants.
·  Always give new ideas to the manager on how to improve and serve our customers better.
·  Contributes to an easy buying process that will make it easy and convenient for our customers to shop in the store at all times.
·  Ensure quality, freshness, efficiency and an appealing range presentation of food.
·  Helps and supports colleagues by sharing job knowledge, responsible for own development by constantly learn and improve knowledge and skills.
·  Always supports the superiors and managers to work towards optimising sales.
YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
·  Possesses food and beverage work experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
·  A person who enjoy working in a vibrant retail environment.People oriented. Passionate in people's everyday life at home and in home furnishing.
·  Confident approach and friendly personality. Able to multitask.
·  A person with the desire to growth within IKEA store.
