ABOUT THE JOB
At IKEA we are passionate about our food as well as the customer. We are recruiting for a chef specialist who will drive the business forward and help to ensure we have a top-notch team. You focus will be creating inspiring menu's and catering for our co-workers as well as customers. This position is prefect for an individual who is passionate about coaching and supporting kitchen co-workers as well as liaising with the kitchen management team to deliver high quality food.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:
·  Actively contributing to a safety first culture.
·  Ensuring efficiency in operations and that routines and requirements are known by your colleagues and followed in all daily work.
·  Being passionate about the food range as well as sharing your specialist competence with guests and colleagues.
·  Presenting the width and depth of the IKEA food range in order to inspire guests.
·  Acting quickly on commercial opportunities and customer feedback.
·  Understanding and contributing to your department's action plans, and supporting the goals and targets set by your manager. YOUR PROFILE
·  You are self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
·  You have a passion for ensuring that the food is served at a high quality all of the time.
·  You are good at prioritising and organising your work.
·  You enjoy working in a high-volume, fast-paced and constantly changing retail environment.
·  You have an eye for detail and a hands-on approach, liking to make things happen.
·  1-3 years supervisory experience

Additional Information :

This is for a 39 hour contract. Availability every other weekend with be required as well as flexibility during the week.
