Who you are

Your responsibilities

We are looking for co-workers in the following areas;
• Sales - combine your positive attitude and exceptional customer service to provide product advice and memorable in-store experiences to our customers.
• Logistics - select, pack and dispatch orders. Work in a fast paced environment, ensuring high standards of selection and presentation are met every time to delight our customers when their purchases arrive for collection in store via Click & Collect. You may also help re-stock our shelves to ensure that our customers can find their next home furnishing purchase.
• Customer Service – the friendly face of IKEA, you may be greeting our customers at the store entry, helping customers with returns or home delivery, or servicing customers at our checkouts.
• IKEA Food – enthusiastic, passionate about food and retail, and love connecting with others, you will be responsible for cash handling, customer service, maintaining the customer restaurant and/or Swedish Food Market, or preparing and serving meals to our hungry customers.

What you need to know

We are now taking applications for positions across our stores in a variety of functions. These roles are permanent part time ranging from 30hrs-40hrs/fortnight. As our store trades 7 days a week you will be rostered between the hours of 8am-9pm, or 6am-9pm for Logistics and Food. You are required to work a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends. All roles require manual handling and are physically demanding as you will be on your feet all day.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS AND KEY DATES:
• We require adequate availability at least three week days per week, and full weekend availability is a must.
• If your application is successful, you will receive an invitation to complete a one-way video interview.
• You will then be invited to a group interview on Tuesday 26 July or Wednesday 27 July.
• If successful, your shifts will commence from Monday 8 August.
