At IKEA Reading our Bistro & Swedish Food Market is fast paced, demanding and busy, combining food preparation, service and sales.
Are you up to the challenge?
What will you be doing?
· Our Bistro is located at the exit of the store, serving hot dogs, ice creams and snacks
· Cooking, preparing and serving to our Food hygiene standards
· You will give great service to ensure our customers are refuelled for their journey home
· Ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and take pride in keeping the Bistro, table areas and equipment clean
· Operating tills
· Merchandising and replenishing in the Swedish Food Market
· Operating a really effective pot wash, making sure all the used equipment is turned around quickly and to a really high standard
· Working closely with the whole IKEA Food team to support them wherever needed It is essential that:
· You are flexible to be flexible to work a combination of early mornings, days, weekends and evenings
· You are available to work 2 out of every 3 weekends

Additional information:
· Living Wage of £8.75 per hour
· Shift patterns cover all retail hours and may start at 7am of finish at 10pm with a minimum of 1 late shift per week
· Weekend working 2 out of 3 weekends essential

Additional Information :
Various Contract sizes available from 12-32 hours per week. Rotas for all contract sizes will include a mix of day, evening and weekend working. You will be required to work 2 out of every 3 weekends.
