About the job

Be a strong supporter to the unit of IKEA Food management, lead and guide the IKEA Food SFM and Bistro unit. Secure the respective area of responsibility such as production, operation and selling. Strive to make customers smile and provide irresistible food offers in a welcoming atmosphere.

Your assignment

As a team leader, your important skill is leadership. Leader is responsible to give full support and guide to the team and secure IKEA Food subject matter expertise. You are responsible to ensure the smoothness of operation in IKEA Food SFM and Bistro. Each strategies are translated into action in the most effective and efficient way in order to achieve the target of operation in IKEA Food SFM and Bistro.

·  You ensure the customers are always in focused and strive to make them smile. You a responsible to maintain the image of a leader and as a good ambassador for the IKEA store.
·  You have a sales-driven attitude and understand the overview of the store business plan as well as IKEA Food action plans.
·  You are able to create action plan and initiate commercial activities that attract store visitors hence increase the take-up rate.
·  You are passionate about the products in IKEA Food SFM and Bistro and actively learn about their content, origins and other benefits.
·  As for the people, a leader should have strong leadership skill and provide guidance to the colleagues in the unit as well as throughout the store. A leader is responsible to ensure colleagues fully understand their task so they can meet the needs of our customers and grow professionally.
·  You are able to challenge costs by working in a lean, simple, cost-conscious way and encourage the team to discover smarter ways of working.
·  You need to ensure the IKEA Quality and Food safety policies and routines are followed.
·  You are responsible to report any food incident or foresee potential incident, through CASY and ensure the managers are well informed.
·  Before starting IKEA Food operation, you need to ensure the right number of co-workers in the right place and at the right time to run the area successfully.
·  A leader should work proactively to avoid bottlenecks and consistently improve customer satisfaction.
Qualification

Your profile

·  You have at least 2 years working experience as a co-worker specialized in food and beverage.
·  You have experience in customer service with proven track record.
·   Leadership, it is proven from previous position that you able to lead a team and supervise the team.
·  Sales-driven, you have experience in building the competence dimension as well as leading strategic Food and Beverage tasks.  
·  Passionate about the growth and development of people, you have the ability to communicate, influence and create an environment where the IKEA values are a strong and living reality that embraces diversity of co-workers and customers.
·  You hold a strong knowledge of the IKEA Concept, including the vision and business ideas, IKEA culture and values, and how to create business advantages.
·  You have IKEA sales experience and knowledge of IKEA merchandising techniques.
·  Able to work on shifts, weekends and public holiday.
