We are currently looking for HR Generalist - Learning and Development to join our Ikea India team for our Navi Mumbai Store

PURPOSE OF FUNCTION:

To establish IKEA as the preferred employer by attracting those who share the IKEA values, ensuring a systematic development for all co-workers, inspiring the co-workers to perform and remain with IKEA. This will support IKEA in achieving the business objectives:

This shall happen by

PURPOSE OF JOB:

Grow the business competence & leadership competence to secure the business goals and the India positioning statement in a multi-channel environment in order to deliver a wonderful customer experience.
Drive organisational competence and the development of managers and co-workers, influencing the whole unit management team to secure that learning is an integral part of unit culture.
Identify the purpose of organisational learning, diagnose team & individual need and curate the relevant tools, solution or offer to create a high performing organisation.
Work interdependently to ensure that competence and development strategies are put in to practice in the most effective and efficient way in order to support the delivery of agreed business results and IKEA objectives.

ASSIGNMENT:

·  Ensure that line managers develop co-worker competence for today & tomorrow by using the relevant competence building tools and methods to secure the wonderful customer experience across the multi-channel landscape.
·  Using information from the performance evaluation and development plan process as a starting point to inform decisions, ensure organisational and individual competence development is a strategic process
·  With the relevant stakeholders, co-create robust and relevant development plans to support identified successors in order to fulfil people forecast needs.
·  Build the pipeline of internal talent by promoting and providing IKEA-recognised development programmes
·  Build the unit learning offer through liaising with the appropriate stakeholders and gathering and analysing the required information in order to diagnose the unit learning needs .
·  Evaluate all learning and development activities to the appropriate level.
·  Proactively meet with, and provide functional expertise to, key stakeholders in order to build meaningful relationships and optimise business opportunities.
·  Ensure the efficient organisation and administration of competence activities through ‘My Learning'
·  Build relationships and productive networks in the local community in order to support unit competence development and also to take advantage of local business initiatives.
·  Secure alignment with the India people strategies and approaches, actively sharing and seeking out best practices and contributing to national projects
