At IKEA Springvale we are passionate about “life at home” and we are looking for someone who shares our passion to join our team as our Graphic Communication co-worker. This role will give you the opportunity to use your proven experience in graphics to secure a communication planthat completes and amplifies the shopping experience for our customers.

Your new role:
You will be responsible for positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishingsby helping us ensure all graphic communication inside and outside the IKEA Springvale store is in line with the IKEA identity. Attention to detail will be essential both visually and in the way you work.

As Graphic Communication Co-worker you will work alongside our interior designers, visual communicators and other partners in store as well as liaising with suppliers and ordering graphics supplies.

This is a fast paced hands on role and you will need to demonstrate your ability to design, produce and implement graphic solutions across the store turning your ideas into a reality.

Your knowledge, skills and experience should include:

·  You are self-reliant with a proactive approach and a demonstrated ability to effectively plan, implement, monitor and follow up in a fast-paced retail environment, working to tight deadlines.
·  You are creative and have commercialvisual competence, demonstrating a keen eye for aesthetics
·  Previous experience in a fast paced graphics role with advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign is essential. Qualification in Graphic Design preferred.
·  A desire to grow and develop existing leadership capabilities within the IKEA Communication & Interior Design team.
