• Shifts can range from a start time of 4am and range to a finish time of 12pm. With availability to work up to 3 out of 4 weekends.
A day in your life with us
You will be working with the goods receiving team, unloading containers, retrieving/locating pallets and completing replenishment of the store. As a Goods Flow Co-worker, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
• Replenishing your assigned area to ensure it is fully stocked and available for customers
• Receiving containers and unloading them using a counterbalance forklift. Locating pallets using a reach truck.
• Using inventory systems to ensure it us fully stocked
• Ensuring IKEA Standard Operating Procedures, rules and guidelines are followed throughout the process to ensure the safety of yourself, your co-workers and our many customers.
Together as a team
Together the Logistics team are behind the scenes that make sure IKEA products are always readily available to the many people. We use our supply process expertise to balance range and space capacity with forecasting and ordering to provide customers with high availability while minimising costs. This is one department always challenging effective and efficient ways of picking up the products for our customers all with the end goal of working together to improve the customer experience at IKEA!
