Job description

In-store Logistic, Receiving.

This position will be entitled to night shift rate and night shift allowance.

·  You contribute to the highest goods availability for customers by the correct and on-time execution of the store goods flow tasks.
·  You contribute to the agreed goals of the action plan in the daily work.
·  You perform effectively the store goods flow operation and administrative tasks that support an efficient goods flow process.
·  You work according to inventory and administrative guidelines to maintain the data integrity of the inventory in order to maximise product availability for customers.
·  You commit to all IKEA health, safety and security rules and requirements, and actively help colleagues to prevent any incidents involving co-workers, customers, equipment and building.
·  You contribute to optimised goods flow operations in the store by working in a lean, simple and cost-conscious way using and sharing good examples.
·  You be available to support colleagues in the department and other areas of the store when required.
Qualification

·  Self-motivated team player with a desire to take on responsibility and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
·  Energetic and physically fit, enjoy hands-on physical work, and have a keen interest in warehouse logistics.
·  Optional - Experience in warehousing operations and a good track record in workplace safety will be an added advantage.
·  Optional - Forklift Licence & able to operate Reach Truck will be an added advantage.
·  Able to work on rotating shifts, public holidays and weekends
