Job description

What you'll need to have

We are IKEA Retail's Digital Inclusive Design, Equity, & Accessibility Centre of Expertise (Digital IDEA CoE). The purpose of this team is to ensure that all IKEA Retail digital experiences and products meet the needs of diverse customers and coworkers. We are the first team of this kind at IKEA Retail, and we are creating this CoE from scratch. This global CoE has 4 streams, each specializing in an area of expertise that will bring the aspiration of human-centric technology to life so that we can ensure that the used of design, data, and technology serves the good of humanity and our world.

The preferred candidate would come from an organizational development/change management background with experience in topics of design and/or inclusion. We are looking for people who:

a. have personal and/or professional global experience
b. dedicates themselves to serving others
c. is passionate about challenging the status quo
d. loves to work with ambiguity by creating something from nothing
e. takes radical initiative in paving the way in an emerging field.

Formal qualifications in related field or equivalent:

Minimum 5 years of experience in practicing strategic planning and/or change management in organizations.
Minimum 2 year of experience leading enterprise-level initiatives in large, complex organizations
Minimum 1 year of leading inclusive design or diversity, and inclusion initiatives
A strong leadership portfolio demonstrating team and enterprise leadership capability
Preferred: Advanced degree in related field (org development, change management, psychology, diversity & inclusion, human factors, design etc.)

Your responsibilities

Key assignments of this role:

i. Co-create the tactical and operational strategies for Digital IDEA in order to support IKEA in the change management of how digital product teams embed digital inclusive design into their work and throughout the business
ii. Conduct deep-dive organizational diagnostics to assess the reality of the current pain points and future opportunities to ensure successful operationalization and scaling of the Digital IDEA strategy.
iii. Lead the development and execution of change management frameworks, methodologies, education, and toolkits to foster successful implementation of the Digital IDEA strategy
iv. Facilitate co-design sessions with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
v. Coach, educate, and manage stakeholders across different levels of the company to shift their mindsets and heartsets to transform the way we work with inclusive design
