As a front of house team member, you are the face of our IKEA food team providing excellent customer service to our fantastic customers!
We are looking for people who are passionate about food and great service. You will be working across our customer restaurant or our Swedish food market/ Bistro where no two days are the same. The role will involve serving our customers, processing payments for food orders and keeping the department clean and tidy. We work hard but have a fun time whilst doing it!
Experience within the food/ hospitality sector is a bonus but our enthusiastic team will show you everything you need to know.
In the IKEA world, we call this position a Food Co-worker.
Expected Starting Date: 25th July 2022
WHAT WE OFFER
• £11.30 basic hourly rate
• Living Wage Foundation Employer
18 hours working 3 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends
20-24 hours working 5 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends
30 hours working 5 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends
We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, we provide options for working weekend only contracts or evening and weekend only contracts with required availability to work until 22:00.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

As a Food Co-worker, you will report to one of the Food Managers or Team Leaders and work alongside them in the department helping to create a safe, healthy, delicious, sustainable, affordable, and joyful food experience for both the customer and the co-worker.
