We are looking to welcome Food Co-workers to join our delightful Restaurant, Swedish food Market & Bistro teams.

In the IKEA world, we call this position a Food Co-worker.

WHAT WE OFFER
• £10.10 basic hourly rate
• Living Wage Foundation Employer

8 hours Weekend only contract
16 hours working 4 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends

• Flexibility on availability to be discussed during interviews
• We offer permanent contracts, advanced scheduling & regular weekend off

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

Bistro & Swedish Food Market
Are you a team player who is customer focused? Do you thrive in a busy environment? If so, then we are looking for you. We are looking for someone like you to help us deliver a taste of Sweden in our Bistro and Swedish Food Market and provide a great customer experience with high quality, sustainable food. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, an eagerness to learn and will embrace change with a solution-orientated approach to the many challenges and tasks that present themselves. This is an extremely fast paced working environment and requires applicants who are happy to work at pace and are able to multi task. For this role we would require that you work 3 out of 4 weekends.

Restaurant & Kitchen
In our popular restaurant your duties would include ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, tidy, attractive and inviting. You also ensure that products are always in perfect condition and correctly priced. Taking action to ensure safety and ensure efficiency and good operations following daily operational routines. Giving every customer a friendly welcome & great service, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and take pride in keeping the restaurant and table areas clean, operating tills, loading and replenishing fridges and working closely with the IKEA Food team to support them wherever possible.
The heart of our store is the kitchen, it’s were we produce some amazing food that brings the taste of Sweden to our customers and co-workers. The kitchen is a fast pace area so being able to multi-task and work efficiently is key. The kitchen is a safety-first environment that requires attention to detail for all things safety. Those that work here help to create a safe, healthy, delicious, sustainable, affordable and joyful food experience for both the customer and the co-worker. For this role we would require that you work 3 out of 4 weekends
