After two stores in the capital of Bucharest and five pick-up points around the country, we have just started preparatory works for the construction of our new store in the city of Timisoara. About you:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in leading a multi-faceted high-volume business
• Ability to handle multiple topics and changing priorities/deadlines
• You are good leader with influencing skills and enable change and competent in leading and developing people.
• Experience leading a multi-unit high-volume retail business with advanced knowledge of sales steering, merchandising and customer service.
• Ability to manage a food service operation including operational and staff costs
• Ability to work creatively within strong frameworks.
• You can work independently and reliably on agreed working methods.
• You have good communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• You can find solutions to customer and operational issues.
• You have attention to detail by being attentive, persistent, structured and accurate.
• Very perceptive with the ability to implement solutions quickly.
• Experience in planning, driving output and measuring performance (business)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Romanian.

About the job:
Responsible for commercial execution in Food areas ensure IKEA Retail Food in commercial calendar, develop commercial initiatives and food competence in the store, acting as a commercial business partner within the IKEA business in the store.

About the assignment:
• Contributes to the implementation of global and national compliance standards to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers
• Ensure the commercial agenda by securing that retail foundations and sales steering tools, food safety and Swedishness are in place
• Lead and implement the commercial strategy and commercial calendar in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Drive the cross merchandising & sampling strategy to maximise sales by liaising effectively with relevant stakeholders
• Lead the implementation of the store IKEA Retail Food communication strategy
• Develop and improve by acting upon customer feedback
• Ensure that the customer restaurant, bistro & SFM is in shape as new, common store planning solutions and vitality packages are implemented
• Sales steering in relations to deep business analysis related to sales locations, family offers, sampling actions etc
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of the unit business plan and the IKEA Retail Food business plan and other action plans together with Operational Manager
• Responsible for securing an excellent customer experience by ensuring that the team has the correct knowledge about the IKEA range (Food and product) and the IKEA services and can share this with customers in a good way
• Identify, recruit, introduce, and develop the many talents and secure succession planning
• Secure a lean, diverse, and high performing team through building IKEA Food and IKEA competence and leadership and empowering co-workers to act on their own initiative
• Contributes to the implementation of the global and national strategies (affordability, accessibility, people & planet)
• Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within Food to secure” ONE IKEA FOOD” integration and common goal approach among all food areas
• Leading local competitor monitoring process and actively using collected information for improving the business commercial strategy and steer the sales towards higher profitability
• Responsible for the recruitment and competence development of Food commercial co-workers and securing personal succession planning by constantly searching for potential candidates.
