Flow Planner,IKEA Distribution Centre Doncaster

Are you passionate about working with DS operations in an integral planning role? Then this might be the next challenge for you! We are looking for a Flow Planner that actively seeks out best-solution practices. You will be responsible for planning and facilitating the inbound and outbound volume for DC Doncaster. It will be your efficient planning that secures the timely availability of stock for onward delivery to IKEA stores. Your planning will help contribute to IKEAs continued growth and success. You will also have a great opportunity to grow and develop together with us!

In the position you will :

·  Plan both inbound and outbound volume for DC Doncaster and onward fulfilment to store
·  Develop and use knowledge and experience of IKEA Warehouse operations, including the IKEA tools and Warehousing Concept to achieve the agreed supply chain requirements.
·  Plan based on operational resource availability alongside that of securing stock and in-store availability
·  Take an active part in the development of operational processes
·  Lead and implement new working processes in conjunction with the operation
·  Contribute to IKEA growth and success.

About the assignment

·  Develop and use knowledge and experience of IKEA Warehouse operations, including the IKEA tools, Warehousing Concept and expertise of colleagues in the Warehouse Operations, to achieve the agreed supply chain requirements
·  Act as a central function for the optimal and efficient steering of all operational processes in the DC
·  Act as a support function for the Warehousing Operation
·  Contribute to highest possible quality perception by our Retailer and Customers by correct execution of the internal flow process contributing positively to securing availability
·  Contribute to IKEA growth and success
·  To fully promote a culture based on customer service
·  The role will be on the basis of a rotation shift pattern of any 5 days from 7, and will include weekend working.
