Customer Fulfilment has the global responsibility for making IKEA products and core services available for customers wherever and whenever they choose to buy them.

Within the Customer Fulfilment Organization, Distribution Services Central Europe secures the deliveries of goods to customers and stores in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and UK/IE. The DS Central Europe organization is committed to meet our challenging growth agenda and operational development in a changing distribution world with e-commerce and rising customer demands. We are building up new structures and multichannel distribution to meet the customers need; this means we have to integrate and develop various competences.

As a part of global organization we are now looking for you as a high potential candidate to develop your career on a “Fast Track” within Distribution Services Central Europe.

About the assignment

The “Fast Track” is an individual and challenging high level program, tailor made to enable you in 18-24 month to take on a leadership position in Distribution Services Central Europe on extended management team level (e.g. Unit or Deputy Unit manager role, Project leader or Deputy Project Leader) as a first step.

To reach that you will get a comprehensive introduction to the organization in order to understand operation and business support fields and then take over responsibility for relevant tasks in key projects. Your journey will continue with exploring further development towards positions on higher levels (e.g. Store Manager, Plant Manager, DS Area Management Team Position).

Your knowledge, skills and motivation

You are the right candidate, if you:

·  Have an university degree in such fields as Logistics/Engineering/Business Administration
·  Have 2-3 years working experience including first leadership experience
·  Are fluent in English and have the willingness/ability to learn and speak local languages
·  Are self-driven and have the will-power to develop, the eager to learn and to initiatively take responsibility
·  Are an enthusiastic team-player who can lead by example
·  Have a genuine interest in retailing and keep customer in mind
·  Are mobile during and after the program GROWING TOGETHER
