Who you are
We are searching for an retail- and project-experienced Visual Merchandiser, who has the ambition to grow within the company.
In order to successfully carry out these tasks, you will be able to use your following qualities:
• Ideally an IKEA-, or at least a retail-experience in visual merchandising.
• Good knowledge of conceptual design software (such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp) and ability to plan complex projects.
• Physical resilience and stress resistance will allow you to effortlessly and enjoy being on your feet a lot, moving heavy products and the display shelves.
• A good written and spoken level of English and at least a basic knowledge of German.
With your approachability, open communication and friendly nature, it is easy for you to foster a positive working relationship with your colleagues.
Your responsibilities
• You highlight the uniqueness of the IKEA range and present the products in different presentation media and business areas in the store.
• You achieve a strong visual impact and create a good overview of the products by ensuring that the store layout is used correctly.
• You work closely with sales, logistics and other departments to present our product range as attractively as possible and optimize business processes.
• You take action on your development and support your Manager by taking over additional responsibility or by teaching our apprentices or becoming a Revit-Super User.
