We are looking to welcome Replenishment Assistants in our fantastic & growing team at IKEA Exeter.
You will help us to make sure all our stock is available for our customers to shop from the moment we open. You will take responsibility for the standards and pricing of items and make sure the shop floor is appealing.
Due to Health & Safety regulations, applicants must be over the age of 18.
Expected Starting Date: 16th July 2022
What we Offer
• £10.10 basic hourly rate, with an additional £2.03 per hour between midnight and 6am.
• 30 hours working 5 days per week, working 3 weekends out of 4 shifts are 4am - 10am.

About the Position
• To assist in the stocking/merchandising of incoming truck shipments to the sales floor and Loading areas
• To work during the early morning filling the shelves and preparing the store when customers are not present, which eliminates safety issues for customers such as tripping over empty boxes
• To make use of product knowledge and article information in performing the replenishment task
• To work with colleagues in other functions in order to drive sales growth and sustain long-term profitability
• To take responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your co-workers, and our customers
• Need to reduce the internal handling of damages to achieve the store profit targets
• Making sure that all empty boxes are removed, and the area is ready for customers before store opening
Job-Specific Skills
• Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving about the departments within the store
• Must be able to lift heavy weight up to 25kg and bend for long periods, good written & verbal English
• Good IT skills & a customer service mindset
