YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer merchandise
Complete any necessary return or exchange procedures to maintain correct stock levels and serve the customer
Communicate customer comments about our Home Delivery service to management
Adhere to inventory control and safety and security procedures
Use available resources to educate yourself on product features, services and customer interaction techniques
Contribute to an environment where the IKEA Culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and customers
Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur
YOUR PROFILE Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
Proactive and courteous customer approach
Good communication skills
Willingness to share your knowledge and learning
Problem-solving skills
Computer aptitude
Ability to lift 100 lbs. (50 kg) on a regular basis
Interest in home furnishings
Valid drivers license, in good standing as determined by state/provincial regulations
