ABOUT THE POSITION
Customer Experience is a strategic function that leads and supports the focus on the customer and their experience (including the product offer), to provide a world-class home furnishing retail experience, in all channels. In your position as Data Steward you will have an important role for maintaining, overseeing and securing the usage and quality of a specific set of customer data on an operational level. You will also secure accurate, trusted and relevant information through the applicable part of the IKEA value chain bringing added value for customers, co-workers and suppliers.
YOUR ASSIGNEMENT
• Operating the end to end delivery of requests related to Customer Information Management (e.g. clarification of ownership and data sources; investigation, analyze, coordinate)
• Handle internal and external requests for search, update and deletion of customer information.
• Provide support in business and root causDe analysis related to customer information.
• Secure that customer information is available in line with the needs from all stakeholders in the value chain.
• Establish consistent data quality acceptance criteria and business rules for validation.
• Ensure compliance to legal rules and IKEA policies and standards.
• Identify potential new customer data quality issues, e.g. by analyzing the results of data profiling and monitoring.
• Measuring the performance of KPIs and report on result.
• Support in creation and execution of the Customer Information Management plan in the retail unit.
• Support and educate in information governance matters and global directives.
YOUR PROFILE
• An understanding of the key data items within the scope of customer information governance and what role it plays in the business processes.
• Good understanding of data profiling methods and tools.
• Attention to details, with strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Ability to understand how customer data quality can support customer and business needs to be met.
• Good written and spoken English necessary, knowledge in German, French or Italian is a plus.
• Pragmatic and decisive in problem-solving
• Ability to understand customer needs in the seamless multichannel shopping experience to challenge the common ways of thinking.
• Contextualize and communicate complex issues in your area of expertise to generate buy-in.
• Ability to work, collaborate and perform under pressure, with flexibility and simplicity.
• Understanding of IKEA Way of Work.
