At IKEA, we are currently seeking a Customer Support Centre Co-worker to join our team in Tempe , NSW for a 2016 start, working 30 hours a week.

The Customer Support Centre is the main contact for customers, offering support via phone, email and web chat to all customers in NSW, QLD, ACT, VIC and Tasmania.

About the Role

As a Customer Support Centre Co-worker , you will be a part of a fun and hardworking team who are focused on providing a positive experience for our customers.

This varied role will see you attending to general customer queries, which can be both simple and challenging. You will be processing orders and resolving customer enquiries and complaints. By building trusting relationships with customers you will educate customers on our home furnishing solutions.

What we are looking for
· A friendly and personable co-worker with solid experience in customer service, who can adapt to the different needs of customers
· Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to think of innovative solution
· Proven experience working in a fast-paced, team environment, both collaboratively, as well as autonomously
· A key eye for detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills
· A good listener, with an empathetic approach to assisting customers
· Experience within a retail and/or call centre environment would be an advantage
· A Passion for Home Furnishings Please Note, the Customer Contact Centre operates 7 days a week from 9am until 9pm Monday to Friday, and 9am until 7pm Saturday and Sunday. Successful candidates will need to be available to work every 2nd weekend.
