ABOUT THE JOB

To drive sales growth and sustained long-term profitability by establishing and retaining a life-long relation-ship with existing and new customers. This is achieved by working in partnership with our customers and other store functions to secure an easy buying process from home to home, and understand and match customers’ needs and expectations now and in the future.

YOUR ASSIGNEMENT

·  Ensuring co-workers are available and ready to help by putting customers before work tasks.
·  Empowering co-workers through knowledge, confidence, trust, authority, and motivation so they are always ready to support customers in the best way possible.
·  Always being available to deal positively and quickly with issues raised by customers thereby supporting co-workers when they cannot resolve a need.
·  Supporting and coaching co-workers to ensure customers leave with a positive impression of the IKEA store and want to come back and shop more frequently with us.
·  Leading by example in terms of customer focus, co-operation with other departments, simplicity & giving and taking responsibility to optimize our customers’ experience.
·  Following up on the department action plan and taking action to ensure continually focus on achieving the agreed goals.
·  Ensuring my IKEA store is a safe and secure environment at all times for visitors and co-workers.
Qualification

·  2 years of experience in leading a team.
·  Experience of actively meeting customer needs through understanding customers in the service industry.
·  Service-oriented, able to support the retail peak periods of the store and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact actively with both internal and external visitors.
·  Proven leadership capabilities. Demonstrated capacity to lead a small team, while providing guidance, support & direction to all areas of the business within the area of your portfolio
·  Strategic, analytical and Tactical ability, self-starter and can work with autonomy.
·  Enjoy working in fast-pace environment.
·  Computer literate.
