About the job
ABOUT THE JOB
To provide IKEA visitors of all ages to have a pleasant, easy and fun shopping experience at IKEA. In results of stimulate visitors to spend more time in the IKEA store and to repeat their visits more often
• Customers always feel welcome on arrival.
• Safe and comfortable play facilities are always available for children.
• Sufficient shopping tools are always available to support an easy shopping experience.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:
· Customer
•This is my responsible to ensure all visitors feel welcome on arrival at all time
•My priority is to ensure all shopping tools are effectively equipped at all times throughout the day and I am ready and available to help customers
•I am fully responsible for the children in Smaland/Entrance Play Area are taken care of in a highest safety& hygienic level, and a friendly & comfortable environment
•I know my levels of authorisation to solve complaints and recognise when I need to escalate an issue to someone with higher authorisation. I pass on the relevant information for them to deal effectively with the customer
•I ensure my area of work is a safe and secure environment at all times for visitors and colleagues
Commercial / business
I am a part to create an easy, fun and convenience shopping experience to entire family in order to drive sales growth and sustained, long-term profitability. I do this by working with my manager and other functions colleague on:
•record information about visitor's top general questions in the store so that we can use the analysis from this to make improvements to our customers' future shopping experiences
•use the appropriate manuals from Inter IKEA Systems to help me maximise our customers' shopping experience
•coordinate and execute kids passport activities
•ensure all customer guidance, shopping tools, easy buying tools, children play facilities and non-commercial areas are always safe, clean, tidy and well maintain at all time
People
•I work with other functions to improve the shopping experience for our customers
•I value other colleagues' ways of working and I learn from those who work differently to me
•I pass on my knowledge to colleagues and encourage them to do the same
•I keep my colleagues informed so that they can perform their roles effectively
•I am responsible for my own development and look to my manager to support me in improving my competence
Financial
•I have an overview of the store and customer relations action plan and understand how our easy shopping action plan supports this
•I look for more effective ways of working to reduce costs
•I understand the impact of my actions on the financial results of my area and know which results I have influence over and how to balance this with the needs of my customers
