ABOUT THE JOB

You will drive sales growth and sustained long-term profitability, by establishing and retaining a life-long relationship with existing and new Kitchens customers. This is achieved by working partnership with our customers and other functions to:

· secure an easy buying process from home to home, and
· understand and match customer's needs and expectations now and in the future. Our aim is to motivate our customers to shop with us more frequently because they trust us to make their shopping experiences successful and their visits worthwhile; as every customer counts.

YOUR ASSIGNMENTYour tasks will include:

· Ensure the satisfaction of all Kitchens customers who contact us directly in all media, particular via telephone.
· Liaise with the Kitchens Sales team and the customer to resolve after sales issues.
· Use knowledge of IKEA range, services offered and how our process work to identify customer needs and offer simple, effective solutions to their enquiries
· Take responsibility for gathering specific information from customers to assist the store to improve our customer's total shopping experience.
· Understanding your department's action plans, and supporting the goals and targets set by your manager.
YOUR PROFILEYour knowledge, skills and experience include:

· You have a courteous and friendly manner on the telephone and face-to-face
· You have experience of resolving complaints
· You are passionate about problem solving.
· You are enthusiastic about working with others in a team.
· You have a flexible approach to work and are open to change.
· You have an interest in home furnishing and people's everyday life at home.
· You can prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of your time.
· You have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
· You are computer literate.

Additional Information :

***Please note this is a 6 month fixed-term contract (with possibility to extend)***

1 x 16 hr contract, working weekends only
1 x 16 hr contract, working various days/times
1 x 20 hr contract working 3/7 days
1 x 30 hr contract working 5/7 days

Successful candidates will need to have flexible availability, including weekend and evenings.
