We are now looking to recruit a Communication Business Partner to join our exciting journey!

As Communication Business Partner you are a business partner and a coach and you have the assignment to secure the effective use of communication as an enabler to reach the business and people objectives as well as create trust in IKEA. You lead communications within the category area and follow up to relevant stakeholders as an integrated part of the business. You also support an open and sharing climate where our co-workers are well informed and the IKEA culture is a living reality.

In this role, you lead and develop communication within the Category Area as a strategic tool for leading business and people. You are responsible for communication frameworks and contribute to a common communication plan for a Category Area based on One IKEA Business Plan Process.
As a member of the Category Area Management Team, you will actively contribute to leadership and business plan development and implementation and you are responsible for key communication deliverables connected to the business plan. You will coach, advice and support leaders to plan and deliver the most effective, appropriate communication as well as to strengthen their leadership.
You are a partner in developing content for external communication and you lead to enable a good dialogue with our suppliers to establish long term partnerships. You will, together with HR and other leaders, create a structured and planned process for change management and communication that engages co-workers in finding ways to leave the old and embrace the new for each defined and agreed change. As part of the Category Area Management Team, you will also contribute to identifying and acting upon cross-category synergies & opportunities.

To be successful in this role you need to have experience and knowledge of strategic communication. Your own communication skills, verbal and written, are excellent. You have a great interest in home furnishing and share the IKEA values. You are a successful leader with a real passion for developing business and people. You are used to work with and driving change in a dynamic organisation. It is an advantage if you have experience from management positions and/or of IKEA Purchasing
This is a temporary role for an initial period of 6 months.
