Purpose of the job:
To achieve an enjoyable, convenient and successful shopping and buying experience that leads to increased sales and buying experience that leads to increased sales and sustained long-term profitability
Secure leadership on the market by offering the most convenient, relevant and breathtaking service offer for our customers. Sales growth within the local market through a service offer that meets the market needs and customer expectations. To adapt the service offer according to the store and local market specifics.
Main assignments:
• Responsible for implementation of a service offer that is affordable and relevant in the local market to support growth and improve customer experience by using customer and business insights.
• Responsible for the service offer to follow pricing approach, country commercial priorities and local demand.
• Identify new and optimise current commercial opportunities together with the Commercial Teams in the Stores and Country Service Business Leader.
• Ensure easy buying and easy selling of the service products (incl. consumer finance and other type of services in the stores) together with the Commercial Team colleagues, including clear and simple communication in all touchpoints to support customers and co-workers.
• Responsible for services sales planning forecast as well as giving inputs regarding capacity planning process for the store.
• Ensure sales steering of services to fully use the capacities of service providers in an optimal way and secure even distribution of service orders between providers.
• Identify deviations or issues in service quality and agree on actions how to improve ways of working together with Service Business Fulfilment (SBF).
• Ensure that services are integrated in the One Market Action plan, have clear goals, and anchored. Secure that the action plan is aligned with other core areas and committed by management teams in the stores.
• Contribute to competence development of relevant co-workers to ensure good understanding and knowledge of the service offer as a growth enabler in the market and the fulfillment process
• Monitor the running business, optimise sales and profitability of the IKEA service offer, and steer towards operational excellence together with the relevant stakeholders in the stores
Requirements:
· Ability and desire to operate on one market with Dybenko and Parnas store teams
· Successful leadership experience in IKEA at least 2 years
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of the IKEA range offer including services.
• Deep understanding of entire IKEA organization: commercial, range and business directions and strategies.
• Knowledge of the local market and consumer behaviour trends.
• Knowledge of budgeting and follow-up process
• Extensive understanding of the service business process.
• Extensive knowledge of sales forecasting to secure service business capacity planning.
· Fluent English
· Readiness to move between the stores
· Passionate about growing and developing the service business area with a service oriented mind-set
· Ability to build trustworthy relationships
