Provide efficient check out services to satisfy customer needs and to strengthen IKEA’s position as the best home furnishing store in the local market.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT
· Process all transactions in an efficient and accurate manner following all IKEA Risk Manual policies and procedures.
· Maintain cleanliness at the Checkouts with bags & wrapping paper available
· Provide visitors with a positive shopping experience by ensuring customer convenience standards are met or exceeded
· Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
· Adhere to inventory control procedures and security policies
· Proactively minimizing loss prevention through proper scanning, audit of receipts, completion of payment process, accurate voids and customer service
· Reconcile cash drawer while maintaining proper audit trail YOUR PROFILE
· Proactive and professional customer approach
· Good communication skills and customer resolution skills/min set
· Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
· Basic mathematical skills
· Interest in home furnishings
· Computer aptitude
· Ability to lift 50 lbs. (25 kg)
