We are looking to welcome co-workers to join our fantastic Checkout team.

In the IKEA world, we call this position a Customer Relations Co-worker.

Expected Starting Date: 28th July 2022

WHAT WE OFFER
• £10.10 basic hourly rate
• Living Wage Foundation Employer

12 hours working 3 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends
16 hours working 4 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends
24 hours working 5 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends

We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, this role will require availability to work during the day, late evenings, and full weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
We are looking for co-workers who strives to give an amazing customer shopping experience; co-workers that always put the customer at the heart of everything they do and inspire others to do the same. They are passionate about ensuring that IKEA has a lifelong connection with their customers by always considering their needs.
Previous experience would be beneficial however, full training will be provided.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
This role is varied with no two days being the same; you will be providing the best quality of service to our customers on our checkouts. This is where the customer will get their lasting impression of IKEA therefore, good customer service is key!

• You aim to create a positive experience for our customers, so they will want to return and shop with us again over time.
• Build loyalty by listening to our customers & using your knowledge of IKEA product range offer informed solutions.
• You work together with colleagues in other functions to improve the customer experience.
• Provide an efficient and accurate checkout experience in the store while working with daily and weekly service targets to drive service delivery.
