About the job

Reporting to the Communication and Interior Design Manager, this Associate role is tasked to support the Com&In team in securing high quality carpentry and paintwork throughout the store in a simple, safe and cost- and time-effective way. This will contribute to consumers' perception of the IKEA brand and the IKEA retailer as a high-quality and affordable home furnishing specialist

Your assignment

·  You implement the agreed Com&In/store action plan with a sense of urgency and an eye for detail in order to support the creation of a strong visual impression in the store;
·  You reduce the environmental footprint and minimise costs by working consciously with resources and materials, and maximising opportunities to recycle and reuse materials;
·  You stay up to date with knowledge about carpentry to increase quality and efficiency.
Qualification

Your profile

·  You have at least 1-2 years relevant work experience in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably gained from the home furnishing industry;
·  You are passionate for fast-paced, future-oriented retailing, home furnishing, people’s life at home and the IKEA product range;
·  You are confident in approaching and communicating clearly with different people in various situations;
·  You are flexible and hands-on, with keen eye for details.
More Information

This role requires flexibility in work hours depending on store operational requirements. Working on public holidays and weekends.

Work Location is at IKEA Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
