ABOUT THE JOB
A functional application support holds the Customer Support Centre together. We can only provide a good customer support when our systems run smoothly and we can work with them how we are supposed to. You will provide first aid to your colleagues with IT system problems. While doing that, you're going to be a friendly and thoughtful contact person. You work in a team and you contribute with your good ideas to good results. You are open-minded about new things and curious enough to quickly understand the existing EDP systems.
Existing software solutions and applications are available for you on the test bench to generate opportunities for optimization. The management and implementation of projects in cooperation with the relevant interfaces complete your working area. You have the desire to take responsibility, to fill the IKEA concept with life and to get better with us.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT
· You are the contact person for all questions and problems related to our business systems in the area of customer relation
· As a link between the local users, users in our stores and the various computer science agencies national and international you are responsible for the smooth operation of the business systems and efficient problem management
· You ensure the compliance with the current EDP routines
· You provide always updated business systems and that the users are on the same state of knowledge
· You support the development and administration of existing applications
· You are providing successful documentation
· As a trainee you like giving internal user-trainings and you provide a positive learning atmosphere
YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
· You have a high level of communication skills, quality awareness and practice orientation
· You have a distinctive service orientation, you are proactive and take responsibility
· You have the will to always find answers to questions and solutions to problems
· Your wide IT user skills and analytical capabilities are driving you to learn more. At best you bring the needed education.
· You're willing to familiarise yourself with the IKEA informatics structure and business systems such as iSELL, SAMS, Mediatrix, C3Web and ILSE
· You have fundamental telephone and IVR knowledge or you are willing to learn more about it
· You're open-minded and you manage to keep up with a rapidly changing surrounding
· You have a social competence, didactic skills and you like giving internal trainings
· You have good English and German skills
