Our Solution Area is looking for a Business Navigator. Why don't you come and teach us a thing or two!

The Assignment
The Business Navigator reports to the Solution AreaManager and is part of the Management team. In order to ensure an aligned way of working with Business Navigation this role will be part of a Business Navigation Matrix within Business Solution Range &Supply.

Your assignment is to:

·  Take lead and support the overall planning and steering of current and future cost development and goal setting activities, perform analysis and interpret the results and development of the Solution Area in relation to our goals and agreed plans.
·  Lead the forecasting, budget- and goalsetting process for the Solution Area
·  Initiate, lead and participate in improvements and ad hoc activities.
·  Analyse, evaluate and provide directions for improvements for the Solution Area.
·  Follow up on implementation of decided actions and support resource planning to secure that the costs are well controlled.
·  Act as adviser and sparring partner, providing support in relation to running business solutions and development of new solutions including financial matters related to contract management.
·  Handle administration of contracts, investment requests,and consultantsand provide support to line and project managers.
·  Prepare and provide financial and performance reports,

The Right Candidate
We believe in order to be successful in this role, you need to have minimum of 3 years of previous experience working with Business Navigation or Business Controlling, preferably with a background within IKEA, meaning that you have a good understanding of the IKEA business model.

We believe that you have an academic degree within the area of Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a similar area.

We believe that you are goal oriented, have strong analytical skills, have a good understanding of quantitative calculation methods and how to practically perform analysis.

We believe that you have a strong ability to develop, implement and follow up.

You are good at coaching others, asking the right questions, and dare to challenge others. You are flexible and used to working in an ever-changing and dynamic environment.

When you communicate and explain your ideas you are easily understood. You have the ability to see the big picture and able to identify the details crucial for the big picture.

As a person you are curious and has a strong drive. You get energy from working together with other people and from being able to add value to their work and to the business.

About Business Solutions Range & Supply
Solution Area Plan and Balance Sales and Supply (PBSS) is a part of Business Solutions Range & Supply at IKEA of Sweden.
The role of Business Solutions Range & Supply is to:

·  deliver competence to support and develop business solutions
·  have an end to end accountability for business solutions, enhancements and projects
·  manage one agreed and steered business solutions agenda in Range & Supply
With business solutions we mean the tools we use to run and develop our business supported by information technology.

Business Solutions Range & Supply consists of approximately 230 co-workers based in different legal units globally all across Range & Supply. We have our main hubs in Älmhult, Helsingborg and Malmö (IKEA of Sweden AB), Dortmund (Distribution Services GmbH), Pratteln (IKEA Supply AG) and Warsaw (IKEA Purchasing Services Poland).

About the Solution Area
The Solution Area manages and develops solutions supporting business processes related to Supply Chain Planning and Optimization.

We lead and develop solutions through projects, major initiatives and continuous improvements projects. We are located in Älmhult and have roles like Business Solution Owner, Business Analyst, Solution Architect and Project Manager.
