The role of IKEA Purchasing & Logistics Services is to provide purchasing and logistic services, to enable production and distribution of the IKEA range at the lowest total cost, making high quality available to the customer under good social and environmental conditions. Purchasing & Logistics Area North is one of 7 Purchasing & Logistics Areas in the world, and our co-workers are based in Älmhult, Dortmund and Kaunas.

For this position we are looking for a Business Finance Partner who is up for a true adventure! In this role you will get a unique opportunity to grow an international experience and network from day 1.

Here’s the deal:
You will get the chance to work and live in three of our different locations (Älmhult, Dortmund and Kaunas). After you have received your onboarding in one of the three countries, you will spend 3-6 months in each location, taking on specific financial assignments and working with the local teams in each country as well as taking part in regional/global projects. After this period you will continue to work in the first location until you are prepared to take on your next challenge somewhere within IKEA!

Examples of assignments:

·       Lead tasks related with market intelligence and contribute to industry analysis for related IKEA Supply business teams

·       Support business teams with IKEA supplier financing requests towards IKEA Supply AG by verifying it from financial and country-specific aspects and contributing to supplier financing follow-ups

·       Contribute to due diligence process including but not limited to Seller Assessment and Sanctioned Party Screening for existing partners and new/potential ones

·       Perform annual Financial Screening of existing and New Business partners, support all relevant Business Units with financial benchmarking of IKEA partners

·       Lead ad hoc requested financial and/or investment analysis & extended financial screening of suppliers

·       Support all relevant business units in region with internal business finance consulting

·       Contribute to and implement digital solutions which should secure business need and improve efficiency

·       Lead and facilitate financial trainings

·       Participate in global projects

Qualification

Who are you?

What you have in your backpack:

·       A passion for structure and detail, combined with ability to see the big picture and ability to prioritize numerous tasks

·       Ability to work in a structured and organized way

·       High motivation in performance and efficiency with desire to find and implement new opportunities and ways of working

·       High energy and drive to deliver results

·       Capability to communicate in a clear way and build relationships

·       Good understanding of business and corporate finance, business processes, basics of local country’s corporate law and macroeconomy indicators

·       University degree in Finance/Economics/Investments

·       Deep knowledge of Microsoft office tools, Power BI (preferably)
