Business Solutions Retail & Expansion takes responsibility for all business solutions connected to the retail and expansion organisation. In close cooperation with our retailers, currently located in 28 markets worldwide, we develop new solutions and keep existing ones relevant and running. Our aim is to generate happy customers and happy co-workers, and by that contribute to our growth.Within our organisation we gather competences in solution management, project management, service management and architecture.
Your assignment as Business Architect includes:
· Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to shape ideas into business architecture for business solutions improvements, describing the current state, future state and transition states to guide the detailed design and delivery of business solutions
· Designing and documenting a concrete, robust, and appropriate architecture covering people, process, technology and organisation impact for the change in scope as well as an actionable transition roadmap
· Leading information architecture activities within the domain(s), establishing directions and providing advice.
· Responsibility to secure an understanding of the architecture to relevant business and IT stakeholders – within and across organisation(s) – and seek agreement with business leaders/owners
· Accountability for guiding that the scope of pre-studies and projects are in line with decided architecture principles
· Providing information and advice for better informed business decisions within and across organisation(s) to optimize portfolio & roadmaps
· Identifying and actively communicating opportunities, benefits, alternatives, impact, risks, dependencies, prioritization suggestion, readiness, gaps – to achieve IKEAs business goals
· Actively follow and guiding business solutions improvements during transformations to the desired future state. Collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to ensure that agreed architecture, strategies, principles and recommendations are implemented
· Ensuring relevant enterprise and domain level architectures and architecture decisions, principles, rules and standards are incorporated into the roadmap and adhered to in the initiatives
Does this sound interesting? To be successful in this role you need to be:
· Deep understanding of the IKEA business – processes, organisation, principles and concepts
· Good understanding of the IKEA IT-landscape and Governance of IT at IKEA
· Good understanding of IKEA enterprise architecture framework and routines
· Good knowledge of Information Management framework
· Good knowledge of information modelling on different levels
· Strong analytical and conceptual thinking; design thinking
· Good knowledge to simplifying a complex reality into simple models
· Good understanding of project portfolio framework and routines.
· Awareness of internal and external business and technology trends that will impact the business and its environment
· Fluent in written and spoken English.
